- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 5, Network Contracting Activity will be issuing a solicitation to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 688-333, Construction of the CLC Third Floor Addition project. This project is an approximately 19,324 sf floor addition atop the existing multi-story, Community Living Center (also known as Building K or 6). The project contains two separate programs - 1) an outpatient and hoptel rehab vision program with four (4) private apartment style patient rooms; and 2) a twelve private resident room CLC expansion. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on/about July 27, 2011. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, etc. and bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; total maximum bonding capacity. Information shall be sent to judi.graziano@va.gov by close of business July11, 2011. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Information received will be used in any set-aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
