- Solicitation Number W81XWH-11-R-0345 will be issued on or about 8 July 2011 and proposals will be due on or about 18 July 2011 @ 2:00PM EST. The Government's requirement is to acquire a variety of specialty and medical compressed gases to be ordered on an at need basis. The proposal needs to show that all the Minimum Essential Characteristics listed in the solicitation have been met. This will be for US Army Institute of Surgical Research in Fort Sam Houston, TX. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325120 and will be an unrestricted procurement. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. No questions will be answered prior to the release of the solicitation. All interested parties can view download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 8 July 2011 at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be completed by going to the following website: www.ccr.gov. Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award to include one base year and four option periods of one year each.
