- DESCRIPTION The McClellan Park Network Contracting Activity (NCA) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small businesses that can provide Air Ambulance Transportation Services for beneficiaries being transported within VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VA PIHCS), HI coverage area. This includes Kauai, Maui, Oahu, The Island of Hawaii (Kona & Hilo) and US territories facilities; Guam, American Samoa, Saipan, and Consolidated Marianas Islands; however, this does not preclude the transport of beneficiaries from and to other locations outside this area when required. The Contractor shall provide all management, necessary licenses/certificates, competencies, privilege and credentialing in accordance with applicable State(s) and Federal regulation for each employee that will perform services under this contract. Services are to be performed in accordance with any applicable FAA, U.S. Department of Transportation, or OSHA regulations, as well as applicable State health and safety regulations, health care accreditation standards (JCAHO or equivalent accreditation organization), and standard industry practices as defined by the Association of Air Medical Services for air ambulance transportation and all terms, conditions, specifications of the contract. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on/about Oct 01, 2011 through Sep 30, 2012 with possible four option years. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The NAICS is 621910 and the size standard is $7.0 million. Interested firms fitting one or more of the Socio-economic categories should send their information by email to maria.teodoro@va.gov no later than 4:00 pm Pacific Time, July 08, 2011. Information should include: Name of your Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS number, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSD, VOSB and or Small Business.
