- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Robert Jones, Contract Specialist, email: robert.m.jones7@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1F0568AX, NOUN: Panel, Structural, NSN: 1560-01-578-8444, P/N: 70205-06052-071; UH-60; Quantity: 5 Min Qty/15 Max Qty on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Basic + 2-100% Options type contract applicable to UH-60 with deliveries to Red River Army Depot, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 5 each, 225 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 5 each per year thereafter until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 138 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 5 each, 150 DACA and 5 each per year thereafter until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to: Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1385 (CAGE Code: 78286) and Helicomb Intl. Inc., 1402 S. 69th East Ave., Tulsa, OK 74112 (CAGE Code: 6W159) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
