- This pre-solicitation notice is for lodging in San Antonio, TX. The award will be a fixed price contract with a period of performance from 17 - 27 Jul 11. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, as noted in the solicitation and Performance Work Statement. Specific tasks include lodging (250 rooms) with high speed internet, refrigerators, and microwaves. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110 and a size standard of $30 Million. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor, i.e. how can the third party commit the hotel services. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The solicitation will be posted on or about 1 Jul 11 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice is not the actual due date. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered as a small business in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate NAICS.
