- FA4528-11-R-0004 The 5th Contracting Squadron requires construction of a parking lot for Building 547 on Minot AFB, ND. The work is 80% general and 20% electrical. The statement of magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Performance Period is 60 calendar days. Work shall be executed in accordance with the required government specifications. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of construction will be applicable to this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990. The business size standard is $14,000,000 The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, material, and transportation necessary to complete the project as indicated in the specifications and drawings. Work includes, but not limited to, demolishing existing features; earthwork and grading; constructing storm sewer; constructing aggregate courses, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous pavement and striping for an approximate 81,000 square foot vehicle parking lot; and constructing parking lot lighting and block heater hook-ups. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available without charge only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as small businesses only with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOpps on or about 15 July 2011 with an anticipated closing date on or about 16 August 2011. "Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date."
