- SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES. Services are required for the construction of an Aircraft Parking Ramp at the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base located in Columbus, Ohio. We intend to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for construction, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to Repair approximately 200,000 square yards of aircraft parking ramp to include full depth replacement of concrete and asphalt pavement with new concrete and asphalt pavement, isolated repairs of concrete and asphalt pavements, installation of subsurface and surface drainage systems, and pavement marking. Work also includes minor work on existing water lines and hydrant fueling system, installation of ground rods and tie-down anchors, and some dirt backfill, grading and seeding. Technical questions should be directed to Elaine Farabee at 614-336-7430. Total estimate for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237310. The small business size standard is $35.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Plans and specifications will be available for inspection without charge at 2811 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio in the Purchasing and Contracting Office. Solicitation packages will be available approximately 30 June 2011, through the FEDBIZOPPS website, with the bid opening thirty days later. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
