- The work will consist of tree removal, clearing, grubbing, and grading of various designated areas on Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida. The work shall be done in conformance with the Environmental Protection Specification, the project specifications, project drawings, Federal, State and Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Management codes and regulations, and OSHA requirements. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. Basis of Award - This award will be made to the offeror with the lowest price (Sealed Bidding). This procurement is a set aside for HubZone small business under NAICS 561730. All questions should be sent by email to Geanette Kelley, at geanette.kelley@usace.army.mil. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the flowing website Https://www.fbo.gov on or about 30 June 2011. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
