- FIRE LOCATION MAP NUTRIOSO MAP GREER MAP EAGAR MAP ALPINE MAP AREA MAP INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS-COMMERCIAL The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has an urgent requirement for Aerial Mulching Services. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price all encompassing end product contract. Offerors will be required to provide equipment (aircraft of sufficient capacity), services, supplies (certified weed-free straw), and expertise to achieve the end result. This procurement will utilize Commercial procedures combined with certain Request For Proposal (RFP) formats. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $17.5 Million under NAICS code 115310 for Fire Suppression activities. The government reserves the right to make a singular award of all line items or multiple award of selected line items. The solicitation packages, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after June 30, 2011, and will be posted at http://www.fbo.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Contractors shall be registered in Federal Vendor Databases (CCR / ORCA) and have DUNS / Tax Id Number established at the time of receipt of offers. Facsimile requests for solicitation information will be accepted. RFP response packages may be FAXED to 928-333-5966 ATTN: AQM BAER Team. Due to the urgent and compelling need for this work, no pre-proposal meeting will be scheduled. Notice-To-Proceed will be issued upon award with anticipated start date for work is July 7, 2011. Offers shall be submitted in writing and shall conform to the format and requirements contained in the RFP. All interested parties, suppliers, sub-contractors, and prime contractors are encouraged to register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL). Handcarried offers may be delivered to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Supervisor's Office, 30 S. Chiricahua Drive, Springerville, AZ 85938. The Deadline for any and all offers HAS BEEN REVISED TO JULY 5, 2011, AT 10:00 AM (MST), LOCAL TIME.
