- Description
- RFP-Solicitation for Grounds Maintenance at Randolph Air Force Base. Please see attachments. 902 CONS/LGCA Randolph AFB intend to award a contract for grounds maintenance service. The scope of work is as follows: the contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Randolph AFB (located in San Antonio, TX.), Seguin Auxiliary Air Field (located in Seguin, TX.), Joint Base Canyon Lake and Jacob's Creek (located in Canyon Lake, TX.), in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Performance Period: The government contemplates a basic contract period commencing 1 Oct 11 through 30 Sep 12, plus four (4) twelve month options. The applicable small business size standard is $7M, the NAICS code 561730. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the attached solicitation. The government plans award on or about 1 Oct 11. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.2040-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be accessed at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR registration must be completed before award can be made. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal in the solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code. There will be only ONE site visit for this project. A site visit will be conducted on Friday, 22 July 2011 at 0900. Everyone will meet at the contracting squadron building 224. This requirement is being offered as a competitive 8(a) set-aside.
