Description
Spare Parts List REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, the U.S. Coast Guard has transferred the ex-USCGC CHASE to the Government of Nigeria and the ex-USCGC HAMILTON to the Government of Philippines. These 378' High Endurance Cutters are currently located at the USCG Base, Alameda, CA. Attachments 1 and 2 describe the spare parts required to outfit those boats. In the interest of making an informed business decision concerning a potential procurement, the USCG requests that any interested sources provide answers to the following questions. NOTE REGARDING PROPRIETARY INFORMATION: No proprietary information is being requested in this RFI. The information you supply will be provided to the recipient countries. NOTE REGARDING RESPONSES: The Government is not be responsible for any costs associated with responses to this RFI. This is a Request For Information only. 1. Are you capable of providing the required spare parts? 2. Are the NIIN numbers enough information? If not, what information would you need in order to provide the spare parts? 3. Do you have the ability to consolidate parts for fewer, larger shipments? 4. Do you have the ability to ship parts OCONUS? 5. What is your socioeconomic status? 6. If a potential procurement is a small business set-aside, the Non-Manufacturer Rule may apply. As a wholesaler, your company may be considered a small business if a) you have under 500 employees, and b) you provide parts that were manufactured by small businesses. Please elaborate on how you could or could not meet this potential requirement. 7. In what time frame can you envision providing 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the required parts? 8. Please describe the system you have in place to acquire the parts, including access to the federal stock system.
