- The National Park Service has a requirement for the production and installation of nine western red cedar park identification signs for Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter, Indiana. This notice is for informational purposes only. Based on the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-5(b)(6) and FAR Part 19.1406, the National Park Service intends to issue a Purchase Order on a sole-source basis to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business: Baron Sign Manufacturing, 900 13th Street West, Riviera Beach, Florida. Based on market research, there were no Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339950, Sign Manufacturing, that could produce and install the western red cedar signs with the level of detail required for the precise routing of the text and lettering on the wood, other than Baron Sign Manufacturing. This opportunity is open only to this contractor. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339950 and the related small business size standard is 500 employees.
