- The National Park Service (NPS), is soliciting bids from firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective bidders desiring to conduct business with the NPS are requested to register at the National Business Center. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, the government will consider. Bidders wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the http://ideasec.nbc.gov site for all information relevant to this solicitation. No other notifications will be sent.The Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in the selection of the contractor whose offer provides the Government with the best value. It is mandatory that prospective bidders conduct a site visit to inspect the work site prior to bidding.Solicitation Number: P11PS61786Title of Project: Replace Frisco Wall SupportsDescription: The requirement consists of replacing 30 linear feet of steel I-Beam structural support lentils and four exterior wall structural support beams that have deteriorated over time. This area is located in the basement of the historic Frisco Station in the old coal bin. The steel lentil which supports the building exterior wall above and the four posts which support the paving above have to be repaired and replaced as required.Type of Procurement: A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.Time for Completion: Project must be completed within 90 calendar days of the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.Set-Aside(s): This requirement is set-aside for Small Business Enterprises.
