- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This is a notification that the formal solicitation may be issued approximately on 01 Aug 2011. This notice fulfills the transmittal of synopsis per FAR 5.207. GENERAL INFORMATION: The 802 Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas in support of the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) is conducting an acquisition for Information Technology Support for AFCEE. Requirements under this solicitation will include management and professional services; studies, analyses and evaluation services; and engineering and technical services. The goal is to have a successful Performance Based Service Acquisition (PBSA) and to provide maximum flexibility to meet Air Force customer needs while complying with regulatory and statutory guidance. Place of performance for the AFCEE IT Support acquisition will be Port San Antonio, Lackland AFB, TX and will include off-site locations in Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco and Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR). The AFCEE IT Support contractor will advise and assist AF Government personnel; but will not perform inherently governmental functions. The solicitation will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), 100% 8(a) small business set-aside Source Selection conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The NAICS Code is 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services) with the size standard of $25M. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing arrangement for a basic contract plus four (4) option years. Central Contract Registration (CCR) will be mandatory for this contract (see CCR website at www.ccr.gov). ***Industry Day is scheduled for 11 July 2011 in San Antonio, TX.
