- Description
- Sole Source Justification The solicitation is for the HVAC Emergency Replacement Project on the Systems Administration Building located at the Quantico National Cemetery. This solicitation is being Sole Sourced in accordance with PL 109-461 to Knighto, LLC. This is an urgent requirement because the current HVAC systems are both down and needs to be replaced. They are currently using temporary systems for air conditioning in the building and it's not doing an effective job. The plan is to replace both roof mounted HVAC systems. Given the time year, this project needs to be completed because we are going to be entering the height of the summer season in July and August. If this project is not completed before the height of the summer season, there is a potential for customer and employee complaints along with an impact on worker productivity. Sole Sourcing to a SDVOSB is in the best interest of the Government.
