Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be issuing a solicitation for Loan Guaranty Services (LGY) for Veterans Benefits Administration Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VBAVACO). The VA LGY currently has two (2) contract vehicles to service loans (approximately 20,000 loans) and to manage Real-Estate Owned (REO) property (approximately 15,000 properties). These contracts cover all 50 States, territories and possessions, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. VA management has decided to merge the contracts into the Real Estate Owned and Portfolio Servicing Contract (RPSC) to reduce costs. The RPSC will be designed to improve efficiencies and enhances VA's ability to deliver the highest quality of home loans provided to America's veterans and active duty personnel. The program also provides federal home loan guarantees on residential property purchased by veterans and service members. As a byproduct of the guarantee program, the VA may become the holder of the REO and loans. The VA is seeking a contractor to manage LGY and REO under the RPSC Contract. The requirement will be competed under full and open completion; therefore all responsible parties are encouraged to respond. Offerors shall meet all requirements as outlined in the solicitation. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the FedBizOpps posting system at http://www.Fedbizopps.gov on or about July 13, 2011. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments.
