This amendment is hereby issued to issue the following questions and answers. Additional questions will not be responded to. QUESTIONS 1. Currently is there an established delivery route? There is no set route, the vendor is responsible for travel from 1100 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA to DOL Headquarters at 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington DC. 2. On average, what is the approximate mileage driven by the courier per day? 80 miles per day 3. Approximately how many pieces of mail and/or packages are handled by the courier daily? Approximately 100 4. Is there a current contract incumbant? Yes And if so, who are they? Bankers Business Management Services Inc. 5. Could we have the current fiscal year dollar value of the contract? The current dollar value of the contract is $ 29,160.56 however; this should not be relied upon in developing a price proposal due to revisions in the Independent Government Cost Estimate for this re-procurement. 6. Is the contractor responsible for paying for fuel/gas to conduct the delivery of mail and transport of employees? No. 7. Is there a min. of contracted couriers that you are looking for? The Government contemplates one courier. 8. Can there be an on site supervisor? No. I ask because you only list the rate of pay expected for the drivers but what about the rate of pay for the on site supervisor? N/A 9. As it was not stated, are you excluding proposals from businesses that can meet the daily requirement for functionality of the business but may need to either learn the area (GPS is an option) or trade their license in for a license listed? No.
