SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - PNEUMATIC TUBE DELIVERY SYSTEM (NAICS 333922) This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential vendors to provide a Pneumatic Tube System for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA, 01730. A contract may be issued with a delivery of installation 45 days ARO. The solicitation package may be available on or about July 29, 2011. Scope of Work: Furnish and install a fully automatic, PC controlled, pneumatic tube delivery system for Pharmacy Service at the VAMC Bedford. System will be multi-zone with diverters, thru station design, various operating zones, five stations, transfer system, waiting lines, independent air supplies, delivery speeds of 6-8 meters/second, computer-controlled braking, station LCD menus, remote diagnostics/programming, and a 120/208 volt power system. Potential vendors will be responsible to field verify all conditions and equipment locations prior to submission of quote. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS 333922. Consistent with the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, VA is particularly interested in identifying Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), and business classification. Responses to this notice should be sent via email to the attention of Teresa Cutty at teresa.cutty@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than Noon ET, Friday, July 8, 2011. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at www.vetbiz.gov.
