- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, Contract Support Division, anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price construction contract at the Dayton National Cemetery, located at the VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428-1088, Project No. 810CM0322, Develop 5 (five) Acres for Crypts and Convert Sections Into Crypts. Work shall consists of, but not limit to the following: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, provide labor and materials to prepare site for installation of approx. 6,924 concrete crypts. Project includes the site preparation and provision and installation of approx 6,924 concrete crypts, underground utilities, asphalt paving, landscaping and installation of an automatic irrigation system as required by the contract plans and specifications. The project shall be completed within 365 days after receipt of notice to proceed. Invitation for Bid VA-786A-11-IB-0032, shall be issued on or about July 13, 2011, with a bid closing date on or about August 12, 2011. This procurement is a 100% Total Set Aside for Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The applicable NAICS code is 237900, with a size standard of $33.5 million and bonding capacity (required payment, performance bonds and bid guarantee). The construction cost range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The SDVOSB must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award and must also be registered and validated as a SDVOSB firm at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
