- Mobile District Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a solicitation for Operation and Maintenance services for the Soldier Service Center, Building 5700, located at Fort Rucker, AL resulting in the award of a firm-fixed price contract, in accordance with the attached Scope of Work and wage rates. This solicitation is to provide facility maintenance, repair, and custodial operations. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W91278-11-R-0054 and will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation will be set aside 100% for Small Businesses with a $35.5 million Small Business Size Standard under North American Industry Classification System code 561210. The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 Jun 2011. Closing date is July 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M (CDT). The anticipated award date is 1 November 2011. Performance is to begin on 1 November 2011 with a base period plus two (2) one year options. This is a competitive Best Value RFP.
