- Description
- This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The intent of this contract is to provide interior improvements to an existing firing range for the United States Marshals Service (USMS) located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: lead abatement, selective demolition, new electrical, new finishes, and replacement of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System. The HVAC system will include new ductwork, air handling unit, exhaust fan and controls. The contractor is to provide all the management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary for this project. The project period of performance is 120 calendar days. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Businesses only. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price. The solicitation will be available on or about July 11, 2011 (actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation). A pre-proposal conference will be conducted before the proposals due date (actual information will be contained in the solicitation). The solicitation will be available for downloading through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website ( www.fbo.gov ). All interested contractors must register with FBO in order to view sensitive but unclassified information, and this registration requires that the following information be completed: (1) An active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) account, and (2) Dun and Bradstreet DUNS Number. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FBO for amendments and/or additional information. Proposals will be due to the General Services Administration, Customer Projects Service Center, 77 West Jackson Blvd., Room 3300, Chicago, IL 60604. Electronic and fax proposals will not be accepted.
