- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest in Warren, PA has a requirement that will be advertised by Sealed Bid solicitation on or around July 7, 2011. This is for reconstruction of FR 160 from Brown Run Road, SR2010 to Seneca Pumped Storage Reservoir, a distance of 5.9 miles. Work will include installation of culverts, construction of turnouts, placement of DSA limestone surfacing, placement of DSA sandstone surfacing and other minor road construction items. Directions from Warren, PA. Take SR 6 East 0.5 miles to SR 59 north. Take SR 59 north 0.5 mile to SR 2010. Take SR 2010 east 1.0 mile to FR 160. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid bond, performance and payment bonds are required. Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this project. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for HUBZone Small Business concerns. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a) prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the bidder will render a bidder ineligible for award.
