Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA)in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), has a requirement to procure Agilent scientific equipment/accessories/services. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) HUBZone sole source as authorized by FAR Part 19.13 to All Business Machines, Inc., 2555 3rd Street, Suite 100, Sacramento, California, 95818-2332. Intended delivery date is by 31 AUG 11. The purpose of the HUBZone Program is to provide Federal contracting assistance for qualified small business concerns located in historically underutilized business zones, in an effort to increase employment opportunities, investment, and economic development in those areas. All Business Machines has been identified as the certified HUBZone firm authorized to provide Agilent equipment/accessories/services, and no other certified HUBZone business can satisfy the Government's requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 424690 Other Chemical and Allied Products Merchant Wholesalers. The size standard associated with this NAICs is 100 employees. All responses received within three (3) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time, 28 JUN 11. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government for this as well as any future procurements.
