- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consititutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P11PS62288 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be a firm-fixed price award. This solicitation is set-aside for a small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 444190. Small business size standard is $19.0 M. Line Items #0001 and #0002: White Pine wood species is full dimension lumber. This lumber is to comply with grading and characteristics of the Northeastern Lumber Manufactures Association (NeLMA) for white pine select grade. Information on this grading is available at http://www.nelma.org/. Line Item #1: White PineQuantity: 25 piecesUnit of Issue: EaDimensions: 3 inches x 10 inches 8 foot in length Line Item#2: White PineQuantity: 25 piecesUnit of Issue: EaDimensions: 2 inches x 10 inches 8 foot in length LIne items #0003 and #0004: Western Red Cedar wood species is to be nominal dimension lumber. This lumber is to comply with Western Red Cedar Lumber Association (WRCLA) grade select knotty. This information is available at http://www.wrcla.org/cedar_siding/board_batten/grades.htm. Line Item #3: Western Red CedarQuantity: 150 piecesUnit of Issue: EaDimensions: 1 inch x 4 inch 10 foot in length Line Item #4: Western Red CedarQuantity: 15 piecesUnit of Issue: EaDimensions: 1 inch x 6 inch 10 foot in length "FOB Destination" means that all costs for transportation or freight from the shipping point be paid by the Contractor and included in the unit price quoted for each item. Material shall be palletized, banded and warp with a weather protective cover for transport and delivery.
