- FA4528-11-R-0017 The 5th Contracting Squadron requires an Alteration to Taxiway Echo at Minot AFB, ND. The work is 100% General. The statement of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Performance Period is 150 calendar days. Work shall be executed in accordance with the required government specifications. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. This work is not in a restricted area. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of Construction will be applicable to this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310 (Repair, highway, street or Airport runway); The Business Size Standard is $33,500,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years. Work on this contract consist of excavation, grading, and construction of aggregate base course and pavements on the airfield at Minot Air Force Base. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available without charge only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as full and open with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOps on or about 20 June 2011 with an anticipated closing date on or about 28 July 2011. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
