Description
W913FT-11-T-0072 Colombia - USMILGP - Colombia Twelve (12) months of Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite communications air time for the Colombian Army Special Operations Command (CCOES) for the Harris 7800 radios. The proposed solution will allow the CCOES access to data, voice, and video capabilities, and provide reliable and secure voice and wideband data connectivity for remote Satellite Communications applications. The service shall include a total of 500 SIM cards. Pre-solicitation Synopsis The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement for Twelve (12) months of Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite communications air time for the Colombian Army Special Operations Command (CCOES) for the Harris 7800 radios in Colombia for the United States Military Group - Colombia (USMILGP-CO). This requirement is in the country of Colombia, and shall abide by Colombian laws. By submitting a proposal the contractor shall guarantee that they have everything in place to complete the project to satisfaction. All equipment, materials, labor, licenses, warranties, and insurances are the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor will also be responsible for all shipping and customs clearance for any materials imported into Colombia. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective United States contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The estimated solicitation posting on ASFI/FBO and the U.S. Embassy - Bogota contracting website will be 23 June 2011. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
