- Description
- This project consists of drilling a new potable water well in the Trout Creek Campground, Sweet Home Ranger District, Willamette National Forest. The new well will be drilled at approximately 100 feet below the surface ground. The Scope of Work also includes removing an existing hand-pump, decommissioning the well, and removing and disposing of off National Forest a concrete slab. The well to be decommissioned is located in the same campground. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: New well: clearing and grubbing, grading, drilling and well development, casing installation, surface sealing, test pumping, well sterilization, and water quality analysis. Well abandonment: removal of existing handpump, well decommissioning, and removal and disposal of concrete slab. The well to be removed is approximately 75 feet deep. Contractor shall furnishing technical expertise, labor, materials, equipment, and any incidental work necessary to successfully complete the project. The Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 8, 2011. The Contractor who receives the contract award, shall provide alternative payment protection as required per FAR 52.228-13. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
