- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO JODY BYRD. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-AL-M, Jody Byrd, Contract Specialist, or Jeanie Clark, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-955-9237. No telephone requests or emails will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the Computer System Digital, PRID: M659, Input/Output NSN: 7010-01-549-4958, Input/Output PN: 724VS100-2, in support of the CH-47 aircraft. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 10 each, maximum quantity of 492 each, including 82 each for FMS. The Computer System Digital is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A technical data Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) is not available to support this requirement. Therefore, this item is restricted to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) The Boeing Company, Cage Code 77272 and BAE Systems Controls Incorporated, Cage Code 89954. It has been determined that this requirement can NOT be met by commercial items. Therefore, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 will be used. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. Award will not be delayed to allow Source Approval Request (SAR) processing time for unapproved sources. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
