-  The items will be shipped to different locations with 404 being shipped to (W62G2T) DLA Distribution Transportation Officer DDJC Stockton, CA. The remaining 50 will be shipped to (W25G1U) DLA Distribution Transportation Officer DDSP New Cumberland, PA. There is a 100% option for up to 454 each that may or may not be exercised "at the sole discretion of the Government" with will increase the total quantity to 908. "This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp <http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp> after the issue date of _July 6, 2011_; hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This solicitation is unrestricted and tradeoffs will include Ability One and Socioeconomic involvement. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery of 454 is to be delivered in 240 days..This item is manufactured for military use only. This solicitation will include DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction (RA). It is the intent of the contracting officer to utilize reverse auction to the maximum extent practicable. The decision was made based on a history of adequate price competition amongst dealers and also a clearly defined technical requirement to include two approved manufacturers of this item. The inclusion of the provision does not mandate use of RA. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Manufacturer's Code and Part Number (if applicable): 34623 P/N 6030594 Quantity (including option quantity): 454 (908 with option) Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: 50 to DDSP and 404 to DDJC. Delivery Schedule: PLT 240 days ( X ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of ___06/20/2011____. ( X ) Proposed procurement contains a 100 % option for increased quantities. ( X ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
