- This proposed contract action will be a sole source acquisition to Astronautics Corporation of America (CAGE: 10138) for the repair of line replaceable units (LRU) applicable to the TH-1H Helicopter. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for a Basic plus four annual Option periods which will include line items for the repair of LRU's NSN 5826-01-552-8578, NSN 5821-01-553-3327, and DATA. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a requirement for competitive proposals. However, all proposals receive within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The Government is not in possession of data; therefore, proposals will be accepted from responsible offeror(s) only. The approximate RFP issue date will be 7-11-2011 with an anticipated response date of 8-11-2011.
