- Description
- The Folllowing Preventive maintenance is to be performed on the Kohleremergency disel Generator (model #250R02D71) on a monthly basis. The system is to be run for a functional test to verify proper including oil pressure, water temperature, start time, automatic bus transfer switch (ABT), Air cleaner and exchaust pipping, and shutdown including emergency shutdown. Lubrication checks to ensure all oil levels are proper and there are no visable leaks. The batteries are to be tested for proper voltage and water levels. they are to be visable inspection for corrosion. The chargin g sytem for the batteries is to be verified and working properly. Belts are to be checked for damage wear. The coolant levels are to be inspected, along with the radiator and all coolant hoses. Fuel level inspected in main tank along with testing for water and contaminates. the engine and generator and all included componenets are to be checked. On an annuel basis all filters and oil are to be changed. Also on anannual basis is to load tested. performance/Period location: Air Station Sacramento 6037 price Ave, McClellan CA 95652. All quailfying contractors must be registered in CCR. If not registered please do so at www.ccr.gov to ensure timely payment of order. Please Contact Chief Richardson at 916-643-7645 no later than (NLT) Thursday the 23rd at Noon eastern to schedule a site survey visit. Due to the heightened security at USCG bases, all persons must be able to show proper identification and proof of registration for all vehicles that come onto goverment installations as well aas be subject to search and seizure.
