- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a purchase order for Chemical Compliance Manager (CCM) Annual Subscription and Annual License Fee from Safetec Compliance Systems. This purchase will be acquired under FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures. BEP has completely installed and integrated the Safetec MSDS Management software into the BEP servers and network. The BEP has invested substantial man hours and resources to provide numerous training sessions via multiple vehicles including e-mail, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, as well as individualized training to equip all BEP employees with the ability to immediately access MSDS's. The BEP originally purchased the software at a substantial cost and has paid the annual maintenance fee for monitoring and management for FY11. This acquisition will be made under a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) as there is only one responsible source. The JOFOC is per FAR sub part 13.106-1(b)(1). This synopsis is made per FAR sub part 13.105(c).
