- The Providence VA Medical Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials; to include tools and apparatus, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits and disposal necessary to perform complete boiler plant safety device testing, preventive maintenance and repairs. All work shall be performed at the VA Medical Center, Providence, RI, Building #10 Boiler Plant. The plant has three (3) Cleaver Brooks Model D42 NB 39014 (1977) 16,000 lb/hr Water Tube Boilers. The VA Medical Center is soliciting a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with a performance period to include a Base Year from 10/1/11 - 9/30/12 with (4) Four One Year Option Periods renewable at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard in $7.0 Million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation Factors include: Technical Capabilities, Past Performance, and Price. This solicitation package is set aside for Small Businesses and will be available on or about June 21, 2011. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessible to view for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. If you are not registered with CCR, you may access at http://www.ccr.gov. All SDVOSB's or VOSB's MUST be certified in Vet Biz. If you are not certified with Vet Biz, you must submit a certification request VA Form 0877 to Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) at www.vetbiz.gov.
