- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Smiths Detection, 2202 Lakeside Blvd., Edgewood, MD 21040-1102. The contractor shall provide upkeep, maintenance and repairs on 41 LCD3.2e units. Smiths Detection is the sole source manufacturer and the only company authorized to conduct repairs, training, and technical support for the light weight chemical detector. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 and the size standard is 750. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, June 24, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or solicitation of offers.
