- Description
- The intent of this construction contract is to reconstruct the two existing Old Sauk trailheads and to construct a new parking area to be called the Bedal Boat Launch Site on the Darrington District of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The work consists of construction of road prism and embankments including but not limited to installing 2 new culverts, asphalt and aggregate road surfacing. The project is located at three separate locations along Forest Road 20 (the Mtn. Loop Highway) at Milepost 37.45, 47.90, and 49.80 at Township 32N, Range 10 E, Section 9 & 31 and Township 30N, Range 11E, Section 9 on the Darrington Ranger District. From I-5 travel east from Arlington, WA on Hwy 530E to the town of Darrington, WA. In Darrington, travel south on the Mtn. Loop Hwy approximately 4 miles to the project site at Milepost 49.80. A district map showing the road system is available for viewing at the Darrington Ranger Station office. The estimated issue date of the Solicitation is July 15, 2011. The estimated start work date is September 2011. The Government's estimated price range is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The project is 100% set aside for HUBzone small business.
