- Pre-solicitation Notice, Food Services, Ft George Meade Appropriated Fund food service operation consists of a main dining facility, The House of Five Hats, FA7037-11-R-0006. This is a pre-solicitation notice for Food Services at the Dining Facility (DFAC) located on Ft George Meade, MD. A solicitation notice with all applicable attachments is to follow. The Contracting Office, AF ISR Agency plans to award an Firm-Fixed Priced contract for a period of 1 base year and 4 option years for Food Services Support at the Ft George Meade DAFC, The House of Five Hats. This acquisition will be subject to the Randolph-Sheppard Act. NOTICE OF PRE-BID/PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE (a) A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference is anticipated at Ft George Meade sometime in May/June during the solicitation phase (date TBD), for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Anticipate meeting at: 9829 LOVE ROAD STE 6128 FT MEADE MD 20755-5260 (b) Submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 2 attendees) to douglas.pohlman.1@us.af.mil, Ph. (210) 671-1461, and bryan.sparks@us.af.mil, Ph. (210) 977-6304, at least 3 workdays prior to conference date once determined. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Please provide the following information: First Name Last Name Date of Birth Citizenship Drivers License & State of Issue Social Security Number (c) A record of the conference shall be made and furnished to all prospective bidders/offerors. The record may include minutes of the meeting, questions (on a non-attribution basis), and answers. (d) Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to the points of contact noted (section b) above not later than 5 days after conference. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of any issued solicitation and specifications shall remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. (e) This pre-solicitation synopsizes the Government's future requirement and provides for planning purposes. This notice shall not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposal. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. All respondents are reminded of the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense (DoD) contract. CCR registration information can be obtained at www.ccr.gov.
