Description
Contractor to provide all labor and materials to complete project 568-11-210, Site Water Main Replacement at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD. Work will include, but not be limited to, replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of water main. The new water main will be placed in-parallel with the existing water main which will be abandoned in-place. Work will include replacement of valve and boxes, tees, bends, fire hydrants, service lines and other appurtenances and bring them in compliance with current industry standards. Work will include all site reconstruction including backfilling. Project does not include base course and pavement work. Work will be completed in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. Construction estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Applicable NAICS code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a business size of $33.5m. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 this procurement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Busines (SDVOSB) Offerors must be listed in the VIP database, available at www.vetbiz.gov, and also must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive contract award. Successful Offeror must also be verified by VA's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving an award. The solicitation package will be available approximately July 1, 2011. Date for receipt or proposals is set for August 1, 2011 at 4:00pm MST. No hard copies of the solicitation package and drawings will be provided. Solicitation package and drawings will be available at www.FedBizOpps.gov.
