- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice to announce the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL intends to issue a solicitation to interested Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Businesses (SDVOSB) who can provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform a three year breaker test. This project requires the maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and all of its components. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 and size standard under NAICS 238210 is $14,000,000. The work will be performed at our medical center located at 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. More information will be provided in a forth coming solicitation that will be posted on FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov on or about June 30, 2011. A site visit has been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2011, 2pm EST, in Building 12 located at 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. NOTE: THIS SHALL BE A SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED, SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS ARE CAUTIONED THAT ANY BID OR PROPOSAL SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION MUST MEET THE CRITERIA IDENTIFIED BY 38 CFR, PART 74. ANY PERSON, PERSONS, OR BUSINESS ENTITY SUSPECTED OF MISREPRESENTING ITSELF FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT MAY BE CRIMINALY INVESTIGATED AND PROSECUTED FOR FRAUD AGAINST UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. PARTIES FOUND MISREPRESENTING THEIR STATUS ALSO RISK DEBARMENT FROM FURTHER GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS. Please note that bid bonds and performance and payment bonds will be required and the bidders must have the bonding capacity for this project. The bidder is responsible for monitoring and downloading any amendments form FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov that may be issued to this solicitation.
