- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is V033691137416. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice 20110518. This is a competitive 100% small business set-aside. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract and requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: DESCRIPTIONQUANTITY 1 x 3 Heavy Hex Cup Screw, SS 304 A Annealed (Stainless Steel bolt)200 each 1 diameter Heavy Hex Nut, SS 304 Annealed (Stainless Steel nut)200 each For this solicitation, the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Norfolk Contracting Department intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their offer using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or submit an offer on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to the website to complete their free registration.
