- Description
- Amendment No. 01 to Solicitation No. 620-11-011 The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International.Development (USAID), is intending to seek applications (Optional Form 612) from qualified U.S. Citizens or Third Country National (TCN) to provide services as a Senior Acquisition and Assistance Specialist under a Personal Services Contract, as described in the attached solicitation. The place of performance for this position is Abuja, Nigeria. This position is located in the Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) atUSAID/Nigeria. The position's primary purpose is to execute acquisition and assistance actions in support of critical USAID programs in Nigeria. The mission portfolio includes the technical sectors of the Presidential Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR);Health Population and Nutrition; Education; Economic Growth and Environment; andPeace and Democratic Governance. The portfolio is among the largest in sub-Saharan Africa with over fifty awards at total project value over $1.2 billion. It includes criticaland highly visible presidential initiatives including HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Global Food Security. The responsibilities of the incumbent include providing support on all aspects of contract management relating to and affecting USAID assistance programs in Nigeria. This includes providing policy guidance, project planning, project design, and implementation and the evaluation of on-going programs.
