- Federal Building US Courthouse Probation 4th Floor Demo and Abatement Scope of work consists of all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to remove approximately 2300 sq. ft. of carpeting with base, approximately 2300 Sq. ft. of drop ceiling, removal sound insulation above drop ceiling, abate approximately 2000 sq. ft. of ACM flooring, abate approximately 2000 sq. ft. of ACM glued ceiling tile, remediation of 7000 sq. ft. of existing lead based painted walls and ceiling with paint chips, 39 - light fixtures and associate wiring and wire ways, removal of various power outlets and associated wire way and wire, IT system cabling removal and outlets, replace selected door locksets, plumbing demolition, cabinetry demolition, office wall demolition, door demolition, remove window treatments for 18-windows, demolition of approximately 14 - HVAC supply outlets with both fixed and flexed ductwork within the space along with thermostats, and certain other general demolition so as to prepare for new construction by others. This is a Small Business Set-aside procurement, open to small business concerns only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This is a negotiated best value procurement. Best value method will be used to determine awardee. Evaluation factors will consist of Past Performance and Total Evaluated price. The estimated contract range is $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation will be posted on or about July 1, 2011. A pre-proposal conference and walk-through will be held for this project at a date to be determined. Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). FedBizOpps provides secure access to acquisition-related information, synopsis, pre-solicitation notices and amendments. FedBizOpps is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives including the Central Contract Registration (www.CCR.gov) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in both CCR and FedBizOpps website is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Lack of registration in these systems will make an offeror ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for the award.
