- Description
- Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to issue a competitive solicitation limited to 8(a) firms for weapon systems operational support and training services. The effort will include training material support, electronic classroom support, PC-based simulators and on-site training facility support. Also included shall be a provision that would allow for level of effort increases up to thirty percent (30%) for each contract line item. The contractor shall have thorough and complete knowledge of SSP ™s program management policies and procedures for the technical, programmatic and operational aspects of the TRIDENT II Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Weapon Systems, the TRIDENT Submarine Program, as well as the management and structure of other SSP support programs. As such, the contract will include a base period for FY12 and two, one-year options for FY13 and FY14. All key personnel must have a SECRET clearance or higher. All other personnel who will do contract work must have clearances that are appropriate for their assignments. The solicitation (N00030-12-R-0010) will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web (www.neco.navy.mil) on or about June 30 2011. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed.
