- REPLACE AND RELOCATE SUBSTATION 1 **** NOTICE TO OFFERORS**** Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. ****************************************************************** Presolicitation Notice: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace substation 1, in accordance with the drawings and specifications on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Major works includes, but is not limited to the following: demolish existing substation 1, provide a new substation in a new location shown on the drawing. This will require a new transformer, switchgear, earthwork, and a retaining wall. Provide a complete and usable substation. Also, provide an additional transformer with foundation, oil containment pits, and firewall. Provide additional switchgear and breakers as specified in the drawings and specifications. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00-$5,000,000.00. The performance period is 180 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 5 July 2011 with a closing date of 4 August 2011. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package will be available only through Electronic Posting System (EPS or Fed BizOpps). This will be a 100% small business set-aside with the NAICS code 237130. The size standard is $33.5 million.
