- This is a sole-source synopsis that provides tentative notification of theSpace and Naval Warfare System Center Atlantics intent to extend contract N65236-08-D-6015 with the 3S Group Type 2 CERTIFICATE AUTHORITY WORKSTATIONS (CAW), Cryptographic Support Server (T2CSS) and the Enhanced CAW Adapter (ECA) equipment and training documentation for a period of twelve months. The period of performance for this extension will be from 26 JULY 2011 to 25 JULY 2012. This extension is needed to satisfy the the Space and Naval Warfare System Center Atlantics equipment requirement until award of a follow on contract is developed and established by Defense Intelligence Systems Agency (DISA. Not awarding a twelve extension would cause negative impact to the government. The extension will be performed by the incumbent contractor, 3S Group Incorporated, 125 Church Street, NE, Suite 204, Vienna, VA 22180. This twelve-month extension of is accomplished pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, " as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required during the extension period would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
