Description
This is a modification to the previous solicitation W912LA-11-T-0008. The job walk originally scheduled for Friday June 17, 2011 at 11:00am has been moved to MONDAY JUNE 20, 2011 at 11:00am. The location of the job walk remains the same. Please contact Jennifer Anderson at 805-594-6295 or jennifer.d.anderson2@us.army.mil if you plan on attending the job walk. The closing date for this solicitation has been extended and all quotes are due no later than Friday June 24, 2011 before 2:00pm PST. All other information contained in the previous solicitation remains the same. The following questions and responses are hereby posted: 1. are the three locations for three separate hangar bays? No. One hangar 2. Is the design of the system to be in accordance with current OSHA and ANSI provisions? Yes. 3. Is the contractor responsible for ensuring the structural adequacy of the hangar to which this system is to be attached? No. 4. If so, are there roof framing plans available for review prior to making the site visit? No. 5. How many workers is each system to be designed for? Three. 6. Are systems other than the one referenced in the solicitation, acceptable, with the understanding that they provide for a safe work environment for personnel? Any reasonable bid submitted in response to this solicitation before the closing will be accepted and reviewed. An award will be made to the bid that provides the best value to the Government. 7. To ensure that workers do not impact the ground, we will need to know the make and model of aircraft that the workers will be on, so that we can know their working elevation. Boeing CH-47 and Sikorsky UH-60.
