- TOILET REPLACEMENTS FOR CONVICT LAKE, GRAYS MEADOW, IRIS MEADOW AND PUMICE FLAT CAMPGROUNDS The scope of this project includes: removal (demolition) and replacement of 11 existing flush toilet buildings. Project includes 1-4 unit flush at Iris Meadow Campground, 1-4 unit flush at Pumice Flat Group Campground, 3 -3 unit flush toilet buildings at Grays Meadow Campground and 1-4unit, 2-3unit, and 3-2 unit flush toilet buildings at Convict Lake Campground. and the installation of 3 new 3 unit vault toilets at Grays Meadow Campground, 6 - 2-unit flush toilet buildings at Convict Lake Campground, 1-4 unit flush toilet building at Pumice Flat Group Campground and 1 3-unit flush toilet building at Iris Meadow Campground. Also includes construction of slab-on-grade accessible pathways, bituminous hot mix parking areas and other miscellaneous items as shown in the SCHEDULE OF ITEMS and the project drawings. Project Location This project is located on the Inyo National Forest, 351 Pacu Lane, Suite 200, Bishop, California 93514. The individual project sites are located at Iris Meadow Campground from Bishop travel via Interstate 395 north 24 miles to FS road 4S12 (Rock Creek Lake turnoff) turn west travel 4-5 miles to Iris Meadow Campground entrance. Grays Meadow Campground from Bishop travel via Interstate 395 south 40 Miles to Independence and FS road 13S17 proceed west 5 miles to Grays Meadow Campground lower. For Convict Lake campground from Bishop travel via Interstate 395 north 30 miles to FS road 4S07 proceed south 3 miles to Convict Lake Campground entrance. For Pumice Flat Group Campground from Bishop proceed north on Interstate 395 35 miles to State Highway 203 proceed west thru Mammoth Lakes 7 miles to Minarets Vista - proceed thru the Vista on FS road 3S11- 4 miles to Pumice Flat Group Campground. There will be a pre-bid meeting on July 13, 2011 at the campground sites starting at Grays Meadow at 10:00 am. Solicitation will be uploaded approximately July 5, 2011. Bid closing date will be approximately August 4, 2011. Starting date is approximately September 14, 2011. This solicitation is set-aside for Women-Owned Businesses, HUB Zone Businesses, and Service-disabled Veteran-owned Businesses without a preference for any one of them.
