- Description
- The intent of this project is to replace non operable water valves throughout the base. Currently there are 12 identified broken water valves. To replace these valves sections of the base will need to have scheduled water outages. The contractor will be required to schedule these outages in such a way as to minimize the inconvenience to the base populace. Underground utilities will be adjacent to work sites, and the contractor must ensure the safety of their workers. The contractor is to inspect valves and determine its actual size. Gate valves shall be used when available.
