- Description
- 18 CONS/LGCC, Unit 5199 APO, AP 96368-5199, anticipates soliciting proposal and subsequently awarding a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) which has two work elements: 1) Design-Build and 2) Construction Only. Projects are based on a general Statement of Work which is further defined with each individual Task order (TO). Work will consist of multiple disciplines in general construction categories for the military facilities of USAF and its partner units on Okinawa Japan. A minimum of $2,500.00 is guaranteed over the life of the contract. The aggregate maximum amount of this program including the base and all option years shall not exceed $125,000,000.00. The Government may award up to seven contractors multiple contracts. The anticipated award(s) will be for a base year with four 1-year options. The award(s) will be made to offerors providing the best value to the Government. The Government will use Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) techniques IAW AFFARS 5315, Mandatory Procedures 5315.3, and Informational Guidance IG5315.101-1. The anticipated solicitation release date is July 2011. The closing date, time for submission of offers, as well as the date and time for pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation package. Solicitation documents will be posted on the Government Point of Entry located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. THIS INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The contemplated contract is to be performed in Okinawa, Japan. In accordance with (IAW), FAR 52.236-7 (modified IAW AFFARS 5336.507), "Permits and Responsibilities" - The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any host government and political subdivisions laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the work. Also, IAW DFARS 252.225-7042, "Authorization to Perform" - The Offeror has been duly authorized to operate and to do business in the country or countries in which the contract is to be performed.
