- SUBJECT: GE Inspection Technologies, GE Digital Energy Signature Series Titan E 450. SOLICITATION NUMBER: W91YTZ-RKB-11-1127 RESPONSE DATE: June 16, 2011, 14:00 pm EST CONTACT POINTS: Keith Batchelor, Contract Specialist, Keith.Batchelor@us.army.mil DESCRIPTION: ***The Healthcare Acquisition Activity-North (NCAA-North), intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with GE Inspection Technologies, for the purchase of one (1) GE Digital Energy Signature Series Titan E 450. *** *** This sole source requirement is based on the fact the GE Digital Energy Signature Series Titan E 450 must be validated by GE to support the exsiting equipment since the unit is covered under a full service contract, if not then the warranty will be voided. The purchase also includes the de-installation and removal of the existing equipment at Brooks AFB. GE inspection Technologies is the only vendor capable in providing the system and maintaenance service in accordance with the equipment specifications since GE is the sole manufacturer and distributor of this equipment..*** ***Delivery shall be FOB Destination, 1USAF AFMC 711 HPW/OML Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433, and is required within 4 weeks after receipt of an order.*** ***The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334519, and the size standard is 500 employees.*** ***No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by June 16, 2011 by 1400.*** A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
