- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with Hopewell Designs, Inc. of Alpharetta, GA. This contractor will provide yearly preventive maintenance (to include a base and four (4) option years) for an X80 X-Ray Beam Irradiator System. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government ™s intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(i)(A). The NSWCCD ™s Radiation Technology Group (RTG) requires service/maintenance on the RTG ™s X80 X-Ray Irradiator. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
